1st March 2003: Little more to
say. Even the overt optimists like me are saying that it's over.
It's been an adventure and the Albion have competed better than I
thought they could, but things haven't gone our way and I can't see
it changing at this late stage.
The chants towards the end of the game at St. Mary's did have some
merit - it does appear that the Premier League is bent - but if we
could score it wouldn't matter.
Nine games left and at least five wins required - we'll enjoy trying
and we'll come back stronger.
