1st July 2003: So, Roberts wants
to go. If we can get a decent price for him, I would sell, but who
is going to buy him? He didn't exactly cover himself in glories last
season.
I've seen it suggested that he is unhappy with Megson's management
style. I'm sorry, but I don't buy that. He's had better treatment
from Megson than most of the team - he wasn't playing well enough
for a place in the side from January onwards in my opinion.
As for other transfer speculation, that's all it is. It does look
like Sakiri will finally join, but we all know better than to assume
anything until you see the guy holding an Albion shirt with his name
on in front of an empty Halfords Lane stand!
