9th December 2003: Four points
clear at the top of the table - we should've been well clear some
time ago, but it was important to win our game in hand tonight. We
didn't play well but we got the victory thanks to Dobie's late goal.
Positives include a start for Darren Moore and a positive impact from
Sakiri. Hughes also made a surprise, and perhaps controversial, appearance
from the bench.
And the ten point gap between Albion and West Ham that would have
materialised had we beaten the Hammers on Saturday, has opened up
this evening as they crashed to a home defeat by Stoke.
It's high time for three points at home on Saturday!!
